1988 - graduated from the Civil and Structural program at BCIT
started structural career working for Trus Joist, the leading timber I-joists, composite lumber and timber-steel truss manufacturer at the time.
1990 - attended UBC to complete his Applied Science degree.
1993 - site engineer for General Motors Place, now called Rogers Arena.
worked on numerous projects, large and small, new construction, building remediation, structural investigation and repair.
1998 to 2004 - conducted testing and statistical analysis to determine design properties.
2001 - 2004 - managed the Intertek materials test lab in Coquitlam, BC.
2005 - joined Levelton’s Construction Materials Division.
initially specialized in forensic and structural rehabilitation work.
performed field investigations, designed repair and rehabilitation strategies.
provided field services during the repair and rehabilitation work.
2007 - appointed Manager of the Construction Materials Laboratory and Field staff.
2008 - made an Associate of Levelton.
2010 - led a new Structural Design group focusing on structural remediation and new construction.
2012 - patented Breyce Railing attachment
2013 - formed Latera Engineering Inc.

2011 – Graduated from Letterkenny Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
2014 – Graduated from University of Ulster Jordanstown with a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering.
Joined CTI Consultants in Virginia as a field inspector from August 2012 to August 2013, on an internship from University of Ulster Jordanstown.
Inspected projects on-site to ensure job specifications were met.
Tested materials including concrete (air content, slump, unit weight, consolidation, and strength), soils (nuclear density tests, water content, compaction and Atterberg tests).
2014 – Joined GN Site Engineers in Colchester, England as a site engineer.
Project managing and ensuring job specifications were met on site.
Setting out and checking levels, motivating operatives and organising site activities.
Adapting to professional standards of report writing.
2015 – Joined Gilligan & Partners Ltd in Belfast as a civil/structural engineer.
Design structures, including steel and concrete supporting frames, concrete retaining walls and foundations.
Resolve any issues with ongoing construction projects through on-site meetings and inspections to reduce any delays to the projects.
Perform detailed site investigation reports on damaged or derelict properties to advise on structural repairs. 2018 – Joined Latera Engineering as an Engineer-In-Training
